We all know our four-legged friends are pretty darn smart. From drug/contraband sniffing, to understanding tricks, being able to assist in therapy, to being able to tell when we’re having a bad day- dogs are smart there's no doubt about it! And today I am going to give you the top 10 smartest dog breeds.
1). Border Collies can learn a new trick under 5 Seconds, and follow commands at least 95% of the time.
2). Poodles are ranked high on the smart-charts for their "working" intelligence - learning new tricks, obeying commands, agility work, and retrieving
3). German Shepherds, are known for consistent obedience. They’re often used as police and military dogs, seeing eye dogs, medical assistant dogs and therapy dogs.
4). Golden Retrievers are one of the nation's most beloved family pet because they're not only super smart, but are also used on as search-and-rescue teams for their keen sense of smell and tracking abilities.
5). Doberman Pinschers are known to be fearless protectors and hang with the kids.
